Selma, TX (October 22, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Selma area sent one person to a local hospital for further care. At around 10:48 p.m., on October 18, the Selma Police Department was notified that a crash took place on Interstate 35.

Reports from authorities show that a blue 1999 Honda was involved in a collision with a black 2006 Land Rover on Interstate 35 in the area of Farm to Market Road 1518.

The incident caused moderate disruptions throughout the area as emergency crews worked to remove vehicles and debris from the roadway.

A 26-year-old male sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
