San Antonio, TX (October 7, 2021) – Three people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area on Sunday evening. Just before 8 p.m., on October 3, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash on Stone Oak Parkway.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a black 2020 Mercedes-Benz was being operated by a 44-year-old female driver who was under the influence of alcohol. As the vehicle passed through the area of Stone Oak Parkway and East Sonterra Boulevard, it became involved in an accident with a silver 2015 Mercedes-Benz.

Three people inside the silver sedan were injured. The victims were identified as the 44-year-old front-seat female passenger, a 12-year-old male who was riding in the rear driver’s side seat, and a 15-year-old female, who was riding in the rear passenger-side seat.

The three victims were transported to area hospitals for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
