San Antonio, TX (December 2, 2021) – An auto accident on the South Side of San Antonio left one man severely injured. At around 11 p.m., on November 30, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Shane Road.

Reports from authorities show that a Chevrolet was traveling southbound on Villamin Road when it became involved in a collision after turning onto Shane Road.

The vehicle then struck a tree, pinning two men inside. A 47-year-old man was pulled from the vehicle by firefights. A 19-year-old male passenger was stuck inside the vehicle. Crews spent extra time removing him from the vehicle. The passenger was then transported via EMS to Brooke Army Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
