San Antonio, TX (March 28, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident that took place on the East Side of San Antonio ended in injuries. At around 3:40 a.m., on March 26, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports provided by the San Antonio Police Department show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 35 during the early morning hours. The incident caused moderate delays in the area between New Braunfels Road and Pine Street.

The incident caused severe delays in traffic that extended back toward North Walters Street.

EMS rendered aid to victims on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
