San Antonio, TX (October 28, 2021) – One man has lost his life following an auto accident in the San Antonio area. On Friday, October 22, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on North Loop Road.

Reports from authorities show that 23-year-old Daniel Joshua Campa was speeding down the roadway. As Campa passed through North Park Road and North Loop Road, he disregarded a stop sign at the intersection. As a result, Campa’s vehicle struck a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, identified as 61-year-old Romero Maldonado, was ejected from his vehicle and thrown approximately 90feet.

Maldonado sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.

Campa fled the scene of the accident and was later arrested.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
