San Antonio, TX (March 14, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a pedestrian accident on Friday evening, March 11.

At around 10:30 p.m., the police and firefighters were requested on-site at a traffic-related incident on Hillcrest Drive.

Reports from authorities show that a woman was walking across Hillcrest Drive when she was struck by a gray Dodge pickup truck. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

Police were dispatched to the crash, which occurred in the area of Vantage View Drive and Bandera Road.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The driver of the vehicle will face charges for failure to stop and render aid.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
