San Antonio, TX (April 14, 2022) – An auto accident reported on Wednesday in the San Antonio area claimed one person’s life. On April 13, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 10.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a collision between two cars and an 18-wheeler dump truck occurred on interstate 10 near Huebner Road. One vehicle caught on fire after the crash, resulting in extensive damage to the vehicle. The incident prompted crews to shut down the roadway for several hours as they worked to clear the scene.

One person sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. One other victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
