San Antonio, TX (March 14, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Bexar County on Friday, March 11.
At around 2:30 a.m., the San Antonio Police Department was requested at the scene of an accident on Interstate 10.
Reports from authorities show that the police were dispatched to the site of a two-vehicle accident that occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 near the base of the ramp to Loop 410.
While on-site, crews located both vehicles that were involved in the accident. The driver of one of the vehicles sustained several injuries and was transported to University Hospital for medical care.
As the police and firefighters assisted with clearing the scene, a third vehicle slammed into one of the vehicles. A few minutes later, a fourth vehicle came through and crashed into the scene of the accident.
Crews spent an extended time clearing the roadway.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.
