San Antonio, TX (October 27, 2021) – One person was hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision in the San Antonio area on Friday evening, October 22.

At around 9:53 p.m., the San Antonio Police Department was notified that a crash took place on US Highway 87.

Reports from the SAPD show that a black 2001 Ford was traveling in the 700 block of US Highway 87 while following too closely to a second vehicle. As a result, the Ford crashed into a second vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved. The two other vehicles were identified as a red 2015 Kia and a black 2019 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 30-year-old female, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to a local hospital for care.

At this time, the police department in San Antonio is investigating the crash.
