San Antonio, TX (January 5, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the San Antonio area ended in injuries. Just after 10 a.m., on January 4, the San Antonio Police Department was requested on-site at a crash on Avenue L.

Reports show that a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of East Avenue L and Oakes Street during the morning hours. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a second vehicle.

Two people involved in the crash were injured. One victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for care while the second victim was transported to an unknown area hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
