San Antonio, TX (April 14, 2022) – One man has lost his life following an auto accident in the San Antonio area. On April 12, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 35.

Reports provided by SAPD show a woman was getting into her car in the area of West Southcross Boulevard and Interstate 35 when someone carjacked her. The woman was then struck by a car.

The vehicle took off down the roadway before becoming involved in a collision with a semi-truck on Interstate 35 in the area of Somerset Boulevard.

The male driver of the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
