San Antonio, TX (October 13, 2021) – A 65-year-old man has lost his life following a pedestrian accident in the San Antonio area on Tuesday evening, October 12.

At around 5 p.m., a 65-year-old man was leaving a nearby grocery store while carrying his groceries in the 400 block of West Olmos Drive.

While traveling down the roadway, the man was struck by a train as he went over tracks.

The man sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and attempted to revive the victim. However, he was subsequently pronounced deceased on-site.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
