San Antonio, TX (February 1, 2022) – An accident reported early Monday morning has claimed the life of one man in the San Antonio area. At around 5 a.m., on January 31, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to a crash site on New Laredo Highway.

Reports from the SAPD show that a collision between three vehicles occurred on the northbound lanes of New Laredo Highway in the area near Briggs Avenue. The incident blocked several lanes, preventing thru-traffic. Police and firefighters responded to the scene and secured the area to prevent further injuries and damages.

One man involved in the accident suffered severe injuries. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he later passed away. The drivers of the two other vehicles involved in the accident were not injured.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the police in San Antonio.
