San Antonio, TX (February 9, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the San Antonio area ended in injuries. At around 6:40 p.m., on February 8, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Texas State Loop 1604.

Reports from local authorities show that a crash between vehicles blocked the two right lanes on eastbound Texas State Loop 1604. The incident caused delays near Farm to Market Road 2696. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to close off a portion of the roadway, causing delays that extended back toward West Bitters Road.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
