San Antonio, TX (February 22, 2022) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following an accident in Downtown San Antonio. At around 10:05 a.m., on February 22, the San Antonio Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports from authorities show that a collision blocked the right lanes of Interstate 35 southbound in the area of North Main Street. The incident caused delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.

EMS responded to the scene to treat victims and transport them to local hospitals for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
