San Antonio, TX (March 23, 2022) – A traffic-related incident reported in Downtown San Antonio ended in injuries, according to the San Antonio Police Department. At around 5:15 p.m., on March 22, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto wreck on Interstate 37.

Reports provided by SAPD show that a collision between vehicles blocked the southbound side of Interstate 37 in the area of Carolina Street during the evening hours. The incident caused some delays throughout the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Medical personnel responded to the crash to render aid to victims and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals. The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
