San Antonio, TX (December 22, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on the North Side of San Antonio ended in injuries, according to local authorities. At around 5:55 p.m., on December 21, the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all requested to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on US Highway 281.

Reports from local law enforcement show that a crash blocked the right lane and shoulder of southbound US Highway 281. The incident caused some delays throughout the area near Basse Road. Stop-and-go traffic was reported as far back as West Sunset Road.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

Investigations to determine the cause of the crash are underway.
