San Antonio, TX (January 28, 2022) – Authorities were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash in the San Antonio area on Monday evening that sent one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At around 5:45 p.m., on January 24, the San Antonio Police Department and firefighters rushed to close off the intersection of Texas State Highway 16 and Tezel Road in response to a two-vehicle collision that was causing delays in the area.

Crews arrived at the scene and closed a portion of the roadway located in the 10800 block of Texas State Highway 16.

Medical personnel was requested on-site to provide treatment to one victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital where they underwent further care.

At this time, the police in San Antonio are investigating the crash.
