San Antonio, TX (January 17, 2022) – At around 6:15 p.m., on January 12, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Texas State Loop 1604.

Reports from local authorities show that a white 2019 Toyota was following a white 2019 Volkswagen too closely while traveling on Texas State Loop 1604 near Judson Road. As a result, the Toyota crashed into the Volkswagen.

Several people involved in the accident were injured. EMS treated a 20-year-old man, a 37-year-old female, a 9-year-old female, a 2-year-old female, and a fifth victim at the scene. An unknown number of injured victims were transported to area hospitals for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
