San Antonio, TX (October 12, 2021) – One person was left injured following a motor vehicle accident in Bexar County. At around 7:23 p.m., on October 8, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Texas 1604 Loop.

Reports from authorities show that a gray 2020 Dodge was traveling on the Texas 1604 Loop during the evening hours. The driver of the vehicle, identified as an 18-year-old male, changed lanes in an unsafe manner.  As a result, the vehicle collided with a black 2014 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 28-year-old female, sustained injuries in the accident. The woman was transported to a local hospital for care.

The 24-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet was not injured. The occupants of the Dodge, the driver, a 16-year-old male passenger, and a 14-year-old female passenger, were uninjured.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
