San Antonio, TX (December 27, 2021) – Authorities in the San Antonio area were requested at the scene of a crash that ended in injuries. At around 3:15 p.m., on December 20, calls for assistance came in surrounding a traffic-related incident in the San Antonio area.

Reports provided by the San Antonio Police Department show that a collision involving a black 2014 Toyota and a red 2019 Toyota occurred on the Texas State Loop 1604.

The crash caused moderate delays throughout the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported a 36-year-old female and a 48-year-old female to area hospitals for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
