San Antonio, TX (October 20, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area on Tuesday morning caused major delays in the area while leaving an unknown number of people injured. At around 7:17 a.m., on October 19, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 35. The incident caused moderate delays in the area of Thousand Oaks Drive.

Crews worked extensively to clear the scene and allow thru-traffic.

EMS responded to the scene and rendered aid to victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
