San Antonio, TX (March 22, 2022) – A young child has died following a pedestrian accident in the San Antonio area on Monday afternoon. At around 1:20 p.m., on March 21, emergency crews were called to the site of a pedestrian accident at an apartment complex located off Interstate 10.

Reports provided by the San Antonio Police Department show that a young girl was struck by a vehicle at an apartment complex located off the eastbound side of the interstate near WW White Road.

The pedestrian was severely injured in the accident. EMS responded to the scene and provided medical care to the victim. The young child was then rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care.

Authorities confirmed that the child passed away after arriving.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
