San Antonio, TX (December 31, 2021) – One child was hospitalized with injuries following a drowning incident in the San Antonio area on Thursday morning, December 30. At around 10:30 a.m., authorities were called to the site of an accident on Pheasant Run.
Reports from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office show that a 4-year-old child and his mother were at a home located in the 1000 block of Pheasant Run near Oak Village Drive. For unknown reasons, the boy was out in the back yard when he fell in the pool at the home.
After an unknown amount of time, the mother of the child found him and removed him from the water. He was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
