San Antonio, TX (April 7, 2022) – A young child was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Balcones Heights section of San Antonio. On April 5, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 10.

Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Interstate 10 near Crossroads Boulevard during the morning hours. Reports show that a 5-year-old girl was riding in a vehicle with her father and uncle when their vehicle became involved in an accident.

The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to flip over. The young girl was pulled from the vehicle and rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
