Susan served in the U.S. military until her major depression, severe back pain, and migraine headaches made her unfit for duty. She filed for Social Security benefits but was denied. She almost gave up several times. She then called the Packard Law Firm. Honestly, she was half-expecting that things would be the same, but they weren’t Samuel Packard knew exactly what parts of her medical file would support her case – things that she had not focused on before. He also explained to her what the judge would be looking for and had her get some additional medical tests that would help her case. When she got to the hearing, things started looking bad. The judge was very skeptical of her case and started saying things that made it obvious that he was about to rule against her. He just wouldn’t agree that she was disabled like we knew she was! But just when it appeared that the hearing was going to go against her, Samuel respectfully but persistently convinced the reluctant judge to order a further medical evaluation that would either prove or disprove her medical impairments. It took a few extra months, but after the results came in, the judge couldn’t deny the evidence any longer. Thus, after years of frustration and rejection, Susan finally won her disability case, and she can now get the help she needs! We couldn’t be happier for her!
