Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Every year, more than 450 motorcyclists are fatally injured in motorcycle accidents across the state of Texas. These accidents often have a profound effect on surviving family members who are forced to endure the mental, emotional, and financial consequences of a tragic loss.
In many instances, families have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to cover funeral and burial costs. Many people lose a source of income that their family has grown to depend on.
Regrettably, the majority of motorcycle accidents are a result of negligence. We see far too many people drive their vehicles while impaired, distracted, or while speeding. Motorcycles are already challenging to see. When drivers engage in these types of reckless actions, it can have fatal consequences for riders sharing the road.
