San Antonio, TX (December 21, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported early Sunday morning in the San Antonio area claimed one man’s life. At around 3:40 a.m., on December 19, crews were notified that an accident took place near the Interstate 35 frontage road.
Reports show that a man and a woman were walking in the vicinity of Interstate 35 and Thousand Oaks Drive. For unknown reasons, the male pedestrian was struck by a train as it passed through the area.
The man suffered severe injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene to treat the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
