San Antonio, TX (December 7, 2021) – One person was hospitalized as a result of a traffic-related incident in the San Antonio area. At around 11:47 a.m., on December 2, the police, firefighters, and EMS were all requested at the scene of an accident on South Zarzamora Street.
Reports from authorities show that a black 2014 Dodge was traveling in the 9000 block of South Zarzamora Street when the driver failed to yield the right of way to a white 2015 Chevrolet at the intersection of Hunter Boulevard. As a result, the two vehicles became involved in a collision.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and closed off the intersection as they worked to remove vehicles and clear debris from the roadway.
One person involved in the crash was injured. An 84-year-old female was transported to a local hospital where she underwent medical treatment for undisclosed injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway with the San Antonio Police Department.
