San Antonio, TX (March 16, 2022) – An automobile accident that took place on the West Side of San Antonio sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 8:30 a.m., on March 15, the San Antonio Police Department, firefighters, and medical personnel responded to the scene of a crash on West Commerce Street.

Reports from local authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked West Commerce Street in the area just east of North Zarzamora Street. The incident caused delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

EMS rendered aid to victims briefly on-site. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
