San Antonio, TX (October 25, 2021) – One woman has lost her life following a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area on Monday morning, October 25.

At around 3:30 a.m., the San Antonio Police Department was notified that a crash took place on Interstate 10. Reports from authorities show that a female pedestrian was traveling near the eastbound side of Interstate 10 during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, a car passing through the area struck the woman near the intersection of De Zavala Road.

The woman sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. At this time, police are working to identify the woman.

The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

Investigations surrounding the accident are currently underway.
