San Antonio, TX (December 6, 2021) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident in the San Antonio area on Thursday evening. At around 9 p.m., on December 2, the San Antonio Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident on Castroville Road.

Reports from authorities show that a female pedestrian was traveling in the area of Castroville Road and South General McMullen Road. As she attempted to cross the roadway, she was struck by a caravan. The woman was then dragged for some distance before the elderly driver’s vehicle came to a halt.

The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced her deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
