San Antonio, TX (December 6, 2021) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an auto accident in the San Antonio area. At around 1:25 a.m., on December 6, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 37.

Reports provided by the San Antonio Police Department show that a crash between vehicles blocked the southbound side of Interstate 37 in the downtown area during the early morning hours.

The crash caused some disruptions in traffic between Houston Street and Commerce Street as crews worked to clear the roadway.

At least one person involved in the crash was injured. EMS rendered aid to those harmed before transporting them to local hospitals for further care.

At this time, the SAPD is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
