San Antonio, TX (December 20, 2021) – A pregnant woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in San Antonio on Saturday evening. At around 11 p.m., on December 18, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on North Pecos La Trinidad.

Reports from authorities show that a gold 2005 Cadillac Escalade was traveling southbound on North Pecos La Trinidad when it veered into the left lane and struck a curb. The impact of the crash caused the Escalade to them crash into the rear of a blue 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. The force of the impact pushed the Avalanche forward, causing it to strike a red 2010 Mazda CX7.

A pregnant female passenger in the Mazda was injured. The woman was transported to Metropolitan Methodist Hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
