San Antonio, TX (January 10, 2022) – One man was left with serious injuries following an auto accident in the San Antonio area. At around 10:40 p.m., on January 7, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Vance Jackson Road.

Reports from authorities show that a man was driving a black Nissan Xterra south on Vance Jackson Road when it collided with a gold GMC Yukon near Northwest Loop 410 access road after the GMC driver ran a red light at the intersection.

The driver of the Xterra, a 50-year-old male, was rushed to a Brooke Army Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
