San Antonio, TX (January 27, 2022) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the San Antonio area. At around 9:35 a.m., on January 27, emergency crews were notified that an accident on the Northwest Side of the city required assistance.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 10 near Wurzbach Road. The incident caused delays in the area that extended back toward Medical Drive.

EMS responded to the scene and rendered aid to victims. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
