Truck Accidents in Texas
Each year, more than 14,656 people are seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents across the state of Texas. Nearly 16% of victims are harmed in accidents involving semi-trucks and other large commercial vehicles. The size of these massive vehicles dramatically increases the risk that people will suffer life-altering injuries. This is especially true in cases where victims are traveling in smaller vehicles.
When victims are hurt in truck accidents, they often require extensive medical care. Many victims are rushed from the scene to local hospitals where they immediately go through surgery and have to remain hospitalized for several days. Victims of truck accidents often require therapy and months of rehabilitation. Regrettably, these victims are often left permanently disabled as a result of their injuries.
If you have been hurt in a truck accident, as a result of another motorist’s actions, you must act quickly to protect your legal rights. Seeking the guidance of a competent truck accident lawyer in San Antonio can help you get the justice you truly deserve.
